Kate Middleton is stepping out while she undergoes treatment for cancer. The Princess of Wales has been largely out of the public eye since the beginning of the year. In January, she was hospitalized for major abdominal surgery that would keep her on bed rest until spring. Then in March, Kate released a video sharing with the world that she had been diagnosed with cancer. Since sharing her big news, she has been laying low. But because of her sudden disappearance — especially since King Charles, who has also been diagnosed with cancer, has still been carrying out duties — people are still speculating on her whereabouts and if she’s OK.

It seems Kate’s up for running errands.
Sources told People that Kate has been spotted out with her family, and running some solo errands, though no photos of her outings have been shared online. Kate shares three kids with Prince William: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
The Daily Mail reported that seeing Kate out and about will be taken as a “positive sign” while stating that Buckingham Palace has been receiving “tens of thousands” of get well cards and gifts for her.
She has a new project out, but don’t take it the wrong way.
Earlier this month, the Royal Foundation Business Taskforce for Early Childhood released a report that Kate was considered a “driving force” behind. And while Kate has been “kept fully updated” on the progress of the project, it shouldn’t be taken as a return to work.
“No one wants to put any pressure on Catherine,” a source told Daily Mail royal writer Richard Eden. “The only thing that matters at the moment is her getting better. She has been through an ordeal this year.”
Kate seems to be getting special treatment from the royals.
“It’s a reflection of Her Royal Highness’s importance to the future of the Monarchy that she has been given as much time as she needs,” the source also told Richard Eden.
Many people have questioned why Kate continues to be hidden amid her cancer treatment while King Charles has been seen frequently since his cancer reveal. “As Sovereign, His Majesty is in a very different position from the Princess of Wales,” the source said. “There is no need for her to be seen while she’s recovering.”

Will we see Kate again this year?
The Daily Beast recently shared a shocking revelation that has the general public concerned. A source told the outlet, “I am told that Kate’s diary for this year is empty. There is nothing planned. She may not appear in public for the rest of the year.” Other sources told the outlet that she was “surrounded” by her family.
