Celine Dion Responds to Critics of Her Slim Figure
Celine Dion, known for her slim frame, is now addressing critics who have scrutinized her slender appearance. At 51, the Canadian singer is standing up for herself, making it clear that she’s always been naturally thin.
Defending Her Body
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Dion stated, “I’ve always been very thin.” She playfully asked the interviewer, “Is there anything wrong with my body?” Dion recalled that when she was 12, her face was rounder due to having more fat as a child, but emphasized that her slim figure has been consistent throughout her life.
Taking Criticism in Stride
Despite the criticism, Dion remains unfazed. She shared that if someone doesn’t want to be criticized, they’re in the wrong profession. Dion’s first major break came at the same age, and she has learned to take criticism on the chin over the years.

The mother-of-three, who shares sons Rene-Charles, Eddy and Nelson with late husband René Angélil, also credits her slim frame to her ballet workouts.
‘People say, “She’s a lot thinner” but I’m working hard. I like to move and [weight loss] comes with it,’ she began, in an April interview with People.
‘I do this four times a week.’

Celine is currently on her Courage world tour, but is required to take a week off due to throat virus.
This required her to ‘postpone the next four shows,’ according to ET.
Despite her setback, the music legend has added additional shows to her lineup, up until September of next year.
