According to Life and Style Magazine, Dion is reportedly open to being set up on dates. An insider shared that while Dion isn’t actively seeking romance, she has agreed to let her friends introduce her to potential matches. “Everyone in her life is excited,” the source revealed. Her sons, Nelson and Eddy, are also supportive, encouraging her to focus on her future.
A Big Step Forward
The insider went on to say, “This is a huge step for her. She has so much love to give.” Dion’s late husband, René Angélil, played a massive role in her life. They met when she was 12, and he became her manager. Their relationship turned romantic when she was 18, and they were together until his death in 2016.

Dion continues to honor René’s memory. In a 2024 interview with People, she said, “I’m still married to René. He’s still my husband.” She also shared that she keeps pictures of him around the house and takes them with her to medical treatments.
